Here's a lot ways to root devices , but ways without a PC are few .

watch this video and follow steps if you want to root your device .

Before you do anything you should have recovery mode .

download the file from this Page .
Turn off your device .
bot it to Recovery mode by pressing volume up , home button and power button at the same time .
choose install .
find the file that you downloaded it in step 1.
press install .
choose reboot system .

If you followed the steps right , you'll see super SU installed in the menu

and you'll have root access .
